VICKI SHARP, BFA, B of ED
2015 brought big changes to my life. My husband and I relocated from Muskoka to Prince Edward County. We bought land and built our home and we have never looked back.
I have been engaged in the arts all my life. I hold 2 degrees, an honours BFA from York University and Bachelor of Education from University of Toronto. I also completed 3 scholarship sessions at the Banff School for the Arts. I love learning and I continue to search out workshops and courses that add to my knowledge base.
For about 15 years, we owned and operated a fine craft & art gallery in Muskoka called The Muskoka Moose in Port Carling. We also launched and ran the wonderful craft show in Toronto called The Moose Show. This was an annual Christmas show held in the atrium in the CBC building in downtown Toronto. After 17 years, I retired the show.
Fast forward to today…. I am involved as an active executive member of The Arts on Main Gallery here in Prince Edward County. For 2 years I was involved with organizing The Maker’s Hand Craft show in Wellington and I continue to participate in craft shows in Ontario.
I maintain a small home based gallery for visitors to visit, see and purchase my work.
