Vicki Sharp has been
creating fine art paintings and classic art jewellery since the late 80's
and she & husband John Klassen have been living in Muskoka since 1991.
In 1995, they opened The Muskoka Moose Gallery in Port Carling where they
represented over 50 artists. Today, the gallery has been downsized
and relocated to their home/studio and features primarily Vicki's
jewellery and paintings. At this location, Vicki holds workshops in
"off-loom bead weaving" jewellery making. Vicki & John also started The
Moose Show in Toronto which is now in its eleventh year and held each
November.
Vicki holds a Bachelor of
Fine Arts degree from York University and a Bachelor of Education degree
from University of Toronto. She also completed 3 post-graduate
scholarship sessions at The Banff School of Fine Arts.
She continues to show at
fine craft shows in Ontario and at studio tours as well as in her own
gallery.
