Bio

muskoka silenceI have been creating fine art paintings and classic art jewellery since the late 80's. With my husband, John Klassen, I lived in Muskoka for 23 years where we established The Muskoka Moose Gallery in 1994 in the town of Port Carling. 2015 brought big changes when we built & moved to a new home and studio/gallery near Picton in beautiful Prince Edward County, south of Belleville Ontario.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from York University and a Bachelor of Education degree from University of Toronto and completed 3 post-graduate scholarship sessions at The Banff School of Fine Arts.

We started The Moose Show in Toronto which operated annually for 17 years each November at the CBC Buildling in Toronto. I recently retired from directing the show and the final year for the show was 2013.

Today, I am enjoying country living in Prince Edward County where I continue to work and teach.
